Stay connected with an AT&T Prepaid data plan
Want to keep a data plan? No problem. Here’s what to do:
- Order a free SIM card at att.com/GetYourSIM.
- Sign in to att.com/activateprepaid when you get the SIM card.
- Follow the prompts to activate a new AT&T Prepaid data plan.

If you have a Data Connect plan and you activate a new AT&T Prepaid data plan, you can get one month free service. Once you activate and pay for your first month of service, you’ll get the second month free.4
- Have the DataConnect Pass $35 Unlimited Data plan? You can get a free month of service plus an additional $20 per month discount.4 Just switch to the $55 per month (50GB) AT&T Prepaid data plan and enroll in AutoPay.
- Don’t have the $35 DataConnect Pass Unlimited Data plan? You can still get a free month of service if you switch to any current AT&T Prepaid data plan.
